For Today -

Outside my window... A beautiful sunset as it is 8.30pm. A sky tinged with pink and white fluffy clouds and so pretty!

I am thinking... About my sweet friend who is going through so much right now as so many trials keep coming. She has been on my mind each and every day and  I am praying fervently.

I am thankful for... So much and so many sweet blessings. The safe delivery of my grandbaby Taio and the safety of my daughter after a long and traumatic labour and delivery. I am reminded of:

"I will praise thee O Lord, with my whole heart: I will show forth all thy marvellous works."
                      Psalms 9:1

From the learning rooms... That the Lord has a plan and I must keep trusting in Him always. My storms have not taken Him by surprise at all! These are all part of His perfect plan.

From the kitchen...Late dinner tonight as I have been out all day and just returned home. So quiche and salad and strawberries and fresh cream.

I am wearing... A green patterned blouse and blue jeans.

I am creating...More cross stitch projects! I am stitching one now with the bible verse:

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."
                                 Matthew 5:8

This is such a pretty pattern and has a large heart and some small hearts too. I love hearts in any form and adore heart decorations!

I am going... To have a busy week!! Not much time to relax or get on the computer. I have so much to do and working  as well.

I am reading... Catching up on my nursing journals this week-these have accumulated and I have not gotten to read them. Also dipping in and out of my devotional books-so much wisdom and inspiration in these books.

I am hoping... That this week will not be too tiring with all my committments and work.

I am hearing... The tv on low and the keys on the laptop as I type.

Around the house... Surrounded by my angel collection.I have angels in most of the rooms.I love the Willow angels and so many others too!

One of my favorite things... Having a pj day! How I love these days!! I guess it will be sometime before I can get one. I had so many after my surgery 10 months ago.

A few plans for the rest of the week..Hmmmm.......Some stitching. Reading my journals. Visit my daughters and my new grandbaby now just over 2 weeks old and so precious!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

A photo of Taio and Natalie his Mom. It is a small photo as from a cell phone but I wanted to include it here. The other photo of Natalie and James the proud parents:

  1. Beautiful grandbaby and your daughter and son in law are adorable also. I will say a prayer for your friend who is having difficulty, I can't help but think just about everybody has some difficulty. In my own family there is so much hard times, but also so much to be thankful for. Just hearing my children laughing together reminds me of how God has truly blessed me and there are a million other ways too. I will pray for your friend, the Lord knows her and her difficulty so He will know who I am praying for. Love you.

  2. Linda those are gorgeous photos, the baby is precious as can be. I also love the photo of your daughter that looks like a professional photo of her and the father. Your daughter is very beautiful. I am thankful for so much it's nice for you to write them all done in the thankfuls. That's a good idea. I can only do one cross stitch at a time, well that is all I will allow myself anyway. Have a great day sweets. big hugs

I *love* that you said this in your list above ~ "That the Lord has a plan and I must keep trusting in Him always. My storms have not taken Him by surprise at all! These are all part of His perfect plan."
