For Today - Outside my window... A beautiful cloudless blue sky. Such a pretty day with bright sunshine!! In the tree just outside my kitchen window three birds chirping! It made me smile as they hopped from branch to branch with one eye on me!

I am thinking...About how children grow up so fast!! It does not seem that long ago that Natalie my youngest daughter was my "baby" and here she is expecting her own baby in July. Wonderful and precious memories come into my mind of both my daughters.I am thinking of what fine young ladies they have grown up to be! I am reminded of this quote:

" A mother holds her children's hands for awhile, their hearts forever."
                                       Author Unknown

                                       and this quote too:

" A mother's heart is always with her children."
                                       Author Unknown

These quotes really strike a chord and I am sure describes the feelings of all of us who have children.

I am thankful for... A wonderful partner and I thank the Lord each and every day for bringing him into my life!! Michael is a real blessing and I am rich beyond measure! I love you Honey so much! A bible verse comes to mind which I would like to share:

"Now therefore, our God,we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name."
                                        1 Chronicles 29:13

From the learning rooms... I am a work in progress and the Lord is shaping me,moulding me and  giving me a truly wonderful testimony. It is hard, painful and it hurts so much at times as the trials keep coming......but I know He will not give me more than I can handle and I am trusting Him.

From the kitchen... Just a light dinner as it is so hot today! Quiche and salad with sweet chilli dressing. Fresh orange juice!

I am wearing... A white top and black trousers.

I am creating...More memories! These last forever and always capture our hearts and minds. So wonderful to look back on these over and over again and make your heart smile!!!

I am going... To just sit and relax and watch my recorded soaps.I hope too I can fit in some cross stitching. This is always a great way to relax!

I am reading... "The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren." I have read and dipped into this book many times before.

I am hoping... That this will be a good week and bring a resolution to one or two issues that have been uppermost in my mind.

I am hearing...Just the laptop keys as I type.

Around the house...Books and more books!! I have bookcases full of them! I love to read.

One of my favorite things...Moments of reflection. These times are so good to learn from,to grow and to gain insights from. So many times after reflecting I have thought "hmmm-if I had to do that again I would do it a different way."

A few plans for the rest of the week... Appointments. Enjoying the lovely sunshine-not very often seen here in England!! Visits to my family.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

A picture taken at Cotswold Life Park-beautiful flowers everywhere.
