For Today -
Outside my window...While making toast this morning a beautiful white feather floated down past my kitchen window as I stood there. I was reminded of angels and that they are the Lord's messengers. The Lord is always with me!
I am thinking... About the London Marathon that took place yesterday. I was brought to tears as I watched a young man complete this in 26 hours in his wheelchair. He was an ex-army Major injured in Iraq on a tour of duty and now has spinal injuries.Thousands of people waited this morning to welcome and congratulate him. So inspirational!! He truly touched my heart.
I am thankful for...Everything!!! The Lord has truly blessed me. Sometimes we focus on the tough spots in our lives and we do not see all the blessings that surround us daily.
From the learning rooms... That the Lord is still teaching me to have faith in Him and let go!!
From the kitchen... A hot chocolate drink with whipped cream and cinnamon. So yummy but here comes another inch on my waistline!!
I am wearing...My blue jeans and a navy and white top.
I am creating...More photograph albums-so many special memories captured.
I am going...To take a bubble bath and relax!
I am reading... Boundaries still and really enjoying this book!I am learning so much from this. I am also dipping into a devotion book called "Everyday Encouragement." I so love to read.
I am hoping... That it will be a sunny day on Thursday as my daughter is taking me out for the day to celebrate my birthday.
I am hearing...How quiet it is here and just the tapping of the laptop keys as I type.
Around the house...Photos and memories of my family and friends.
One of my favorite things... Stitching! My daughter has found a pattern for a Winnie The Pooh design she would like stitched for her baby. So here is another project for me!
A few plans for the rest of the week... Still trying to catch up with my snail mail! I seem to have gotten so behind with this. A letter or few words brighten a day so much. Some housework too!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing... A photo of me taken at Cotswold Life Park in June last year. We go here so often and it is another favourite day out for me.

Hi Linda! What a lovely post! Wish I were there to join your for that hot chocolate! It would be worth the inch! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery touching about the major & the marathon. Makes you really think - so many complain about the smallest of things, & look at him! What an example!
Yes, you will be 29 this year. We are the wonders of the world - how in this world do we stay forever 29??? We would make a fortune if we were to share our secret to this. :-)
Love you Linda... hope we can catch up this weekend after a busy weekend. Hugs!
