For Today -

Outside my window...Once again darkness as a late start to my post. It has been a cold damp day with drizzling rain. We are expecting snow again in the next couple of days and it is forecast that this will stay around until the end of December..

I am thinking... Of the lovely day I had with my daughter Natalie and my grandson Taio James. We went shopping and then for a meal at an Italian restaurant.  After this we came home and just relaxed and chatted. She arrived this morning at 10.30am and has just left to go home after her partner James came to collect her..

I am thankful for...My wonderful family and wonderful friends. God is so good and has blessed me beyond measure!

From the learning rooms...Still having faith that the Lord will answer my prayers about my work situation and show me if I should return to work at the hospital where I have worked for years as a nurse.I have asked Him to show me if this is where I should return or maybe He has other plans for me.I am learning to have faith and trust more and more each day! It is here I am reminded of one of my favourite bible verses:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
                                   Hebrews 11:1

From the kitchen... As I said Natalie and I ate out earlier and we enjoyed a lovely chicken pasta dish and garlic bread.I enjoyed a slice of lemon cake about an hour ago at home-it was so yummy!

I am wearing... Blue jeans and a grey sweater and black blouse.

I am creating...Still working on cross stitch projects and putting photos in albums.

I am going... To go to bed soon after a hot chocolate with marshmallows. I so love this drink before bed.

I am reading... Still reading "Love your Life" by Victoria Osteen and I am really enjoying this book.

I am hoping... That I will get all my Christmas cards mailed out real soon. I cannot believe that I am so behind with this!

I am hearing...Cars go by in the street outside and the laptop keys as I type.

Around the house...A beautiful bunch of lovely flowers that my hunny bought for me a few days ago!So many pretty colours and different colours in the bunch.

One of my favorite things... A bath with lots of perfumed bubbles! I intend to go take my bath and relax and then make my drink and then off to bed.

A few plans for the rest of the week... Spending time with family. Mailing my cards and presents out and hoping they make it for Christmas as so behind now!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing... A couple of photos of my beautiful grandson Taio James. He is almost 5 months now.
