For Today -

Outside my window... I have just got in and it is way past 10.30pm. Pitch black outside and snow is falling!! Everywhere is like a white blanket-so pretty but oh so cold!

I am thinking... Of my vacation to Georgia and the many blessings this brought to me. Seeing my family again after a year and a half. Celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. Time to relax. And about the Lord blessing me with the opportunity to meet a blogger friend!! So exciting! So blessed!! I will post more on this on my Days Touched By Grace blog.

I am thankful for...Everything!! As I reflect, I am more and more thankful for so many blessings. My trials and pain have become blessings! Thank you Lord so very much.

From the learning rooms... Yes-I am still a work in progress. The Lord is still working on me through some unexpected trials. How I have clung to this bible verse so many times and how I will again:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an unexpected end.
                                  Jeremiah 29:11

From the kitchen... I am going to have a hot chocolate with marshmallows! Just perfect for this snowy  and cold night!!

I am wearing... Black pants and a white top.

I am creating...Memories and plans to put photos of my trip to Georgia in an album. How nice it will be to just re-visit this time whenever I want to. Memories are so special and so precious.

I am going... To go to bed real soon. It is already nearly 11.15pm. I think tonight I will have to have fur lined pj's as it is way below freezing here!!!

I am reading...A book I bought in Georgia by Victoria Osteen called "Love Your Life." Victoria shares her personal life experiences, her journey of faith and the lessons she has learnt. I am looking forward to reading this book and am only a few pages into the book so far.

I am hoping... That the sore throat I am experiencing is not the start of a cold.

I am hearing...Just the laptop keys as I type. It is really quiet tonight and no cars going by outside as the weather is so bad.

Around the house...Reminders of all my blessings!

One of my favorite things...Relaxing with my stitching or a book and snuggled up on the sofa with one of my throws!

A few plans for the rest of the week... Catch up!! I am so behind with everything. I have to post on my blogs,e-mail and mail out Christmas cards and so much more!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing... A photo of my daughter Laura taken in my sisters front garden on our trip to Georgia. Laura is having fun climbing the tree!!

    laura is a beautiful child..
bernie and i never had children but we had already agreed when we were married that if we had a girl, her name would be laura and if we were fortunate to have a boy, then his name would be stephen....
alas! we had no babies....instead we had to settle for generations of cats!!!
