 For Today -

Outside my window...It is getting dusk now as I am getting a late start to my post!

I am thinking... About the last few days. So many emotions!! The excitement of my little grandbaby boy being born.I am thinking of the traumatic labour my daughter had and how so many things did not go to plan.About how hard this was for her as so many aspects of her labour went wrong. Although an exciting  time and a time full of anticipation also an anxious time.

I am thankful for... The blessing of my beautiful grandbaby and I give thanks to the Lord that Taio arrived safely and Mom too got through the delivery safely.I am reminded of:

"Unto thee,O God,do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare."
                        Psalm 75:1

"O give thanks unto the Lord: for He is good: for his mercy endureth forever."
                        1 Chronicles 16:34

From the learning rooms...Learning is a life long process and there is so much I am still trying to understand. I put my faith and trust in God. I know He will work everything out but in His time. I have to wait!

From the kitchen... Cod,vegetable bake and fresh vegetables. Strawberry and banana smoothie!

I am wearing... A blue and white top and blue track bottoms.

I am creating... Some plans to surprise my  daughter. I want to take her out for lunch when she is feeling better. I am going to decorate the restaurant with balloons and decorations to welcome little Taio! This will take planning as I want her to choose the day and restaurant and then I can plan with the owners how to put the decorations up.

I am going... To buy a cake also to take to the restaurant to surprise my daughter with. She loves this beautiful strawberry sponge cake from Maison Blanc a French cake shop so she will love this surprise for sure!

I am reading... Catching up with some magazines-I have gotten behind with these.Dipping in and out of "Strength For The Climb" by Kristin Armstrong. This is such a good devotional book and one you can read again and again.

I am hoping... That the much hoped for resolution to an going situation will arrive soon.

I am hearing... Just the sound of the laptop keys as I type. It is so quiet here tonight.

Around the house... Many angels. I love my collection and I have angels all around my house in all the rooms.

One of my favorite things... A browse around the stores in the city centre. I love just walking around and then going for a cup of coffee and cake.

A few plans for the rest of the week...Helping my daughter and spending time with her.Stitching and reading. Maybe a little tv watching.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing... A photo of my grandbaby Taio 3 days old:
