For Today -

Outside my window...The sun is trying to peep out from behind some dark clouds. A pretty day out there today! Flowers popping up in my garden and the trees beginning to bud again.

I am thinking...How blessed I am! God has been good to me after a painful and valley laden year.

I am thankful for...So many things-just where do I begin?! Thankful for my family and my partner Michael.  Thankful for all my friends.Thankful for all my trials and the valleys and the growth that has come from all of these.Thankful that God brought me safely through major surgery last September and so very thankful for normal histology despite the fact that tests were showing it could have been something worse.Thankful that God hears our prayers and that Michael has received recent excellent news! God works in amazing ways!

From the learning rooms... I have really learnt that God is with me in the valleys as well as the mountain tops! Thank you Heavenly Father!

From the kitchen...I am thinking that tonight I will fix cajun chicken and garlic ciabatta bread!

I am wearing...A maroon sweater and black track bottoms

I am creating...Memories and taking lots of photos. I plan to start putting all of these in albums instead of in drawers and on the computer.

I am going...To do some cross stitch soon. I am making a project for my daughter Natalie's birthday in July.I have almost finished it and have a little more stitching and backstitch to do.

I am reading...The Christmas Blessing

I am hoping...That I am able to take a much needed vacation to the USA in November.

I am hearing...The sound of the tv in the background as Micheal plays his X-Box! He really believes that he is at the Liverpool football stadium!!! He told me earlier today that Liverpool the team he supports had gotten to the quarter finals. I then realised this was all on the X-Box!!! I said to him I hope they quickly win the final and then the season is over!!........lol.

Around the house...I see many of my collectibles-bears and angels and my much loved candles.

One of my favorite things...Relaxing- stitching and reading.

A few plans for the rest of the week...Hopefully, weather permitting a trip or too out to the countryside.I have come to love these days so much.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...This was taken yesterday at Blenheim Palace. A wonderful day out with Michael. We walked for over an hour and a half around the grounds!
